How do you find a person's UK home address?

Performing a person search can be a tricky task, especially if you only have a name to work on when you're trying to find a person's address.

There are two main reasons for this. First, for a small country, there is an awful lot of name and address data in the UK. There are around 26 million different addresses and a total population approaching 70 million people. Second, there is no completely up-to-date database listing where anyone is living on a particular day.

The closest resource that exists to that ideal universal address database is the UK Electoral Register, which is updated every year. In its publically-available, edited form it is usually more than good enough for any person search you might like to carry out.

By far the best way to search the public edition of the register is online, as doing so allows you to perform person searches by first name/surname and by address. You can also see the names of other adults living at the same address as the person you are searching for.

So if you want to find a person's address, the number one person search tool you should be looking at is the edited version of the Electoral Register – don't forget that all the necessary address data is available quickly, easily and for a low price from People Trace Online!
